Abbotsford Lodge is a large victorian house built around 1890. Most of the main rooms in the house retain many of there original features, and all rooms have colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities. By prior arangement, for special occasions, we can also arrange for full or half bottles of champagne fresh fruit and flowers to be in the room on your arrival.

We are in an ideal location for guests attending local weddings in the Roman Camp Hotel. For guests attending these weddings we can offer a pre wedding light lunch.

We have off street parking ideal for motorbikes and secure storage for cycles. We are within walking distance of the town centre with many restaurants and bars.

The beautifully re-furbished residents lounge and conservatory are ideal places to sit, relax and enjoy afternoon tea. Evening meals are availiable by prior arrangement, using fresh ingredients are cooked to order, and any special dietry requirements can be catered for.

We specialise in catering for groups of between 10 - 35 people for occcasions such as birthdays, christenings and high-teas. Please contact us for more information.
